♥Primitive Cubby Quilt...Handquilted♥

Looky...looky

I am calling these my Primitive Cubby Quilts, this being my first one.

We all have those old cupboards, pie safes & antique wooden boxes that we love to display our prim treasures in.  For me when decorating, I like a "layered" look, not just something sitting in a cubby all by it's lonesome.
So with that thought in mind...I pieced together this wee little Prim Cubby Quilt.  It is machine pieced, but all hand-quilted.
100% cotton quilt batting inside and bound with tan binding.

I aged this with walnut ink...the results just prim perfect.
I'm not sure of the quilt pattern but it is based on an antique quilt that I seen a picture of in one of my early American decorating books.
Brown & Blue Cubby Quilt is about 7" long x 5" wide.
could also be used as a table mat

Primitive Brown & Blue Cubby Quilt is $old TY J plus Travel Fare, will arrived signed and dated by me, the maker.

I am hoping to make some more of these..love'm to (quilt) pieces ;)

Thanks for your visit today!
